City Council Seat Vacancy - January 2025

Woods Cross City Council will fill a City Council vacancy that will occur due to the pending resignation of Matt Terry,  effective January 21, 2025 or upon appointment of a new City Council member.  Complete applications must be filed in person with the City Recorder/Deputy City Recorder January 6-January 9, 2025 between 8 am and 5 pm.

Note:  The term of the vacancy is through December 31, 2025.  If the appointed member wishes to serve after that date, they will be required to file for candidacy in the 2025 general election.

The City Council intends to interview applicants and appoint a replacement at a public City Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, January 21, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 1555 S. 800 W, Woods Cross, UT 84087. This is a public meeting which will be held in person in the Woods Cross City Council Chambers and via Zoom.
