Following notification of structural distress in a number of homes in the Farm Meadows Subdivision in December 2015, Woods Cross City proceeded with a thorough investigation to identify the cause and extent of structural distress initially observed in the subdivision. This report describes methods utilized in the investigation and presents the resulting findings and data supporting the primary conclusion of ground settlement as the principal cause of distress to the residential dwellings in the Farm Meadows Subdivision. General recommendations are included to provide guidance in future efforts to mitigate existing structural distress observed in the residential dwellings in the Farm Meadows subdivision.
