Police Officer, Senior Officer, Master Officer 

Position Summary: Performs a variety of entry level technical law enforcement duties related to enforcing the state and local laws, maintaining the peace, and protecting the citizens of Woods Cross.

Education and Experience: Candidates who apply for this position may be hired as a Police Officer, Senior Officer or Master Officer based on experience.
Graduation from high school plus "basic certification" through P.O.S.T. preferred. If not currently P.O.S.T certified as a Law Enforcement Officer, it is required within six (6) months of hire. Woods Cross City is willing to sponsor an applicant through P.O.S.T with an employment agreement.

Salary Range: Annual starting salary range is between $54,184 and $80,860 (DOQ). This position is eligible for benefits and Woods Cross City offers a generous benefits package including health, dental, life and short/long term disability insurance. The City participates in Utah Retirement System (URS). Other benefits include sick and vacation leave, holiday pay, and City provided vehicle and cell phone.
